So my mom really loves faeries, and she used to have a HUGE collection, that is until February of 2010 when my parents house burnt down. My mom and step dad had recently broke up and my mom had gotten an apartment. Well my step dad spent the night at her house because they were going to try and get back together. Well that night was when the house burnt down. It had something to do with the heater. It was horrible. There is nothing left, it literally burnt down to the ground. So needless to say my mom lost everything, and so did my step dad. My mom lost all of me and my sisters baby pictures, her mothers day ring that we got her, her faerie collection, clothes, you name it! My mom has been very depressed since all of this and I really want to make her happy.
So I drew her 2 faerie pictures, that I will print out and frame for her. I drew it first on paper, then scanned it, and colored it in photoshop. They are the same image just one has daytime colors, and the other has night time colors. So here they are! Let me know what you guys think. I just really want to make my mom smile on her special day, and give back something she has lost. I worry about my mom since I don't live with her anymore, and she has been kinda sick... So if this makes her happy I will feel a little more at ease.
